With the Tarka Trail, the South West Coastal Path and Exmoor on the doorstep there is an endless variety of walking and rambling for all abilities.

Quad Bikes & Grass Karting or Go Karting
A large number of local centres provide a wide range of adventure style activities of the four-wheel variety; conducted under strict supervision. Try North Devon's only all terrain quad bike adventure centre. Start with the novice ride with full tuition and then progress onto the skill trial to tackle the Watersplash & Woodland Dipper.

Paintball is a sport combining teamwork, strategy and skill into an action packed adventure for both men and women. Golf
There are five courses local to the hotel. These include the championship course at Saunton Sands and a new nine hole, eighteen tee course at Willingcott Valley, provide challenges to test all levels. |

Sea fishing from llfracombe shore or by boat, coarse fishing or trout fishing from well stocked lakes. Fish for Bass, Tope, Ray and the largest Pollack in North Devon.

Clay pigeon shooting
Clay pigeon shooting opportunities are almost unrivalled in North Devon , and the Narracott Hotel is central to many of the region’s premiere clay shooting grounds, with the wide variety of grounds making clay pigeon shooting holidays and breaks very popular.

Barnstaple Heritage Centre The Heritage Centre consists of a large fixed exhibition on the rich history of Barnstaple and takes visitors through the major periods using a variety of interpretive techniques including hands-on activities, computer touch screens, text and graphics panels, reconstructions and audio-visual presentation.
